Ultimately, when all is said and done, "People Buy from People"! No matter how
technologically advanced the world becomes, there is no
substitute for 'personal relationships' and one-on-one
communication when it comes to sales made in relation to a happy customer.
With that in mind, we are inviting all our
client base to join Facebook, and incorporate themselves into a professional networking base that
promises
to be a positive tool for us all.
Our Facebook page features events that we wish to promote
(sales, promotions, design center dates and topics, new products being
introduced, etc.) and it displays projects from each
of our CRESCENT PROFESSIONALS promoting what we've done as a lighting professional (it's
also a great way for us to also "plug"
you and your projects as well). Email Devon Anderson at
dpa_lighting_design@yahoo.com if you have
project photos that any of our Crescent Lighting Professionals have personally
worked on, and that you'd like to display, and any "blurb" about
them you wish to be displayed. I'll display it prominently
with your name at the center (Once you are linked with us, you can see what I've
already done thus far to get a feel for what
I'm looking for).
If you already have a "personal networking" page, then you know how it works. If you don't, then
you probably have some questions as to
whether you would want all of your personal information or thoughts or discussions
plastered in our network. Let me say, that we in no way
want anyone to do this. If you already have a personal
Facebook page...don't use it here...just set up a new one, using your business E-mail
only, or set up a
new email address in yahoo, hotmail, etc - so you can set one up. Facebook allows you to block any personal solicitations by
friends, or relatives, that you would prefer to not be a part of this venture...this allows you to keep it totally
professional!
This is a professional networking endeavor...not a personal information grab. With the inception of
our Design Center at our Kirkland location,
and considering the nature of the economy as it has been, we all need to
do all we can to stand out, and capture the attention of any potential
client...that goes for every facet of the trade.
Nobody loses when they attempt to network with other designers, architects, builders, or clients. And our combined efforts can
also be a benefit
when questions may occur on a project, where we might just need another's professional input in another part
of the industry...this network can
truly be invaluable. So let's partner up and make it happen.
If anyone has
questions regarding the Design Center, Vantage Controls, or the Facebook networking page, feel free to email
me or call and we
can discuss your concerns.
Here's the procedure:
Go to www.facebook.com - set up a Facebook page using your company email as your
signature, or log on as your own personal existing
Facebook - Click on "Friends" and then click "find friends" - scroll all
the way to the bottom and type in CRESCENT LIGHTING, hit enter and you'll
see our site on the screen - just click on the
right side where it says "add as friend". This will send me a message, and I'll then accept it and you'll
have access to the
site and you will be able to invite your clients and contacts as well. It's that simple. Facebook is a very
powerful tool, if you
use it properly. Become friends with CRESCENT LIGHTING, and gain valuable information, and access to
professionals in all areas of the trade to
strengthen your already successful business.
